Inscription:  (On base plaque:) DEDICATED BY THE CITIZENS/AND/PUBLIC SCHOOL CHILDREN OF FALMOUTH/IN LOVING MEMORY OF HER/SEAMEN/1907. unsigned Description:  A large pink granite boulder topped with an iron anchor and adorned on the front with a bronze relief plaque depicting a clipper ship.
