A 16 foot high structure with sounding devices, 26 ft. antennae, bells ringing in a vacuum, and cyclotron pipe system for sending vibration. IAS files contain excerpt from "Complex Visions: Sculptures and Drawings by Alice Aycock," Storm King Art Center, May 21-Oct. 31, 1990, which indicates one source for the work was a theory that "ether winds" radiate through all matter and provide the electro-magnetic energy which animates everything. The overall structure comes from a clock and furnace, with details taken from the Complete Encyclopedia of Illustration.
