    Description: 
    Ronald Reagan stands, holding kernels of corn in his hand, which represent the state of Illinois' "production of agricultural products." He wears a business suit with a tie, and he looks down at the kernels, which are resting in his proper left palm. He points with fingers on his proper right hand to the kernels.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is located in a park next to Reagan's boyhood home. It is a gift of Dwayne Andreas, chief executive officer of Archer Daniels Midland Corporation (ADM), Decatur, IL. ADM has an identical piece at their corporate headquarters in Decatur. IAS files contain related article from Dixon Telegraph (Dixon, IL), Dec. 18, 1988. The Dixon Telegraph article contains installation photographs. Stan Efran of Inocast Corporation designed the sculpture and Burkholder and Son Construction and Precast Company installed the underground support for the base. Chuck Bush of Viking Builders assisted in the installation of the sculpture.
