Medium:  Sculpture: marble; Base: brick and stone. Dimensions:  4 figures. Each figure: approx. H. 5 ft. x W. 2 1/2 ft.; Base: approx. 3 x 6 x 6 ft. Description:  The four Apostles stand with their backs to each other. Each has a scroll in his hand. John is clean-shaven and an eagle sits at his proper left foot. Mark, Matthew and Luke have beards and moustaches. A lion sits at Mark's feet; an ox is by Luke; and a small child or angel is near Matthew. The figures have their backs to a brick center structure that is atop a stone base.
