Description:
Standing figure of a Confederate officer, Captain Robert D. Logan, in uniform atop a tall four-sided base articulated with pillars and a stepped plinth. Figure is dressed in knee-length officer's coat, trousers, and boots; holds hat in proper right hand which hangs down at side. Proper left hand is extended forward and may originally have rested on a sword, now missing. Figure stands in contrapposto and gazes forward.

Remarks:
Logan, resident of Boyle County, served in the 6th Kentucky Cavalry under General John H. Morgan. Monument was erected by the Kate Morrison Breckenridge Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy and veterans of Boyle County. IAS files contain related newsclipping from Kentucky Advocate (Danville, KY) dated May 18, 1968.
