    Description: 
    A depiction of a miner carved from a one hundred year old pine tree. The miner holds a pick in his proper left hand and a lunch pail in his proper right hand. He has a full beard and moustache and wears a miner's helmet with a light. He is dressed in boots and coveralls. The pick the miner holds was carved from a beam of a log cabin more than one hundred years old. The sculpture stands on a round wooden plinth on a rectangular concrete base.
