    Description: 
    George Washington stands with proper left leg forward. He wears a tricorn hat and a military uniform. The uniform consists of a full-length cape worn over a short jacket, waistcoat, and knee-high boots. He grasps the edge of the cape with his proper right hand near his thigh. With his proper left hand he holds the handle of a sword which is sheathed at his proper left hip. The sculpture is mounted atop a tall base enclosed by a circular fence.
