Medium:  Fountain and figures: concrete; Base: concrete; Pool: limestone. Dimensions:  4 Figures. Each approx. 4 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 ft.; Overall: approx. H. 10 ft.; Base: approx. H. 8 in. x Diam. 5 ft.; Pool: approx. D. 3 ft. x Diam. 13 ft. Inscription:  unsigned Description:  Four allegorical female figures representing the four seasons are installed around the base of a two-tiered circular fountain. Winter, in the northwest corner, stands wrapped in drapery, leaving her left leg exposed. Fall, at the southwest corner, stands holding a sheaf of grain and a scythe in her proper right hand. Summer, at the southeast corner, stands holding a bunch of grapes to her chest with her proper right hand and holding a shallow bowl in her proper left hand. Spring, in the northeast corner, stands holding a bouquet of flowers under her proper left arm and a bouquet in her proper right hand. The fountain pool is built of narrow, rusticated limestone slabs standing on end with eight circular planters located around the perimeter of the pool.
