Description:
Carved full-length figures of explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark standing on a carved wood base. One of the figures holds the barrel of a musket with his proper right hand, with the butt of the musket on the base. To his proper left the other figure holds a telescope horizontally, with both hands, towards his face. Both figures are wearing fringed coats and have their hair gathered in the back. The figure with the musket wears a three corner hat, the figure with the telescope wears a brimless cap.
