    Remarks: 
    The duck was built at Camp Rabideau, the local Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp, under the direction of forest ranger P. J. St. Amant. The duck was used as a float in the 1938 St. Paul Winter Carnival. When not in parades, the sculpture rested in front of the town creamery. Sign in front of duck reads: BLACKDUCK MN.
