    Remarks: 
    The statue commemorates Elizabeth Kellog, who in 1984, mounted a petition drive that ended a threat to eliminate Bethel's first green (and site of her future memorial). Upon her death in 1989, Mr. Greco, owner of Greco Industries, provided funding for a memorial to her. An artist-craftsman employed by Greco Industries created the work.
