    Description: 
    Full-length figure of a Civil War soldier. He stands at parade rest. He wears a uniform including overcoat and cap. He holds the barrel of a rifle in both hands; the butt of the gun rests on the ground near his feet. The bronze sculpture stands on top of a wall-like structure constructed of mortared fieldstone. The center of the wall has a round, window opening. The sides of the wall stair-step down and curve outward slightly.
