    Abstract full-length figure of a Chumash Indian chief. He stands with his proper right hand raised high. He wears long flowing robes painted orange and a full feather headdress painted white. The concrete over wire sculpture stands on a square concrete base.

    The sculpture was built in the 1930's to honor the remaining members of the Chumash Indian tribe. Funds and labor for the sculpture were donated by residents of the community. IAS files contain copy of related Agoura Chamber of Commerce fact sheet, "Welcome to Agoura".
