    Description:
"This figurative bronze sculpture depicts two male Native American Iroquois Indians actively engaged in the game of lacrosse. Dressed in loin cloths and soft shoes, they each concentrate on the ball which is in the pocket of the highest stick. The figure which has caught the ball is shown in mid-air. This figure is not attached to the base but to his competitor at the calves of their proper right legs. His proper right arm is raised with the stick and his proper left arm is held away from his body. The second figure has his weight on his proper left leg planted solidly on a mound of earth. His back is slightly turned toward the viewer and he holds his stick with both hands. There are blue decorative markings on the figures."
