    Formerly in the collection of Davidson, Jo, until 1952.
    Remarks: 
    Gift of the La Guardia Memorial Committee to the City of New York. The base and niche were created by Eggers and Higgins. The bust was found in Davidson's collection at the time of his death in 1952. The La Guardia Memorial Committee purchased it for this monument in 1952 and it was dedicated in 1957.
