Description:
Full-length figure of Laura Mitchell Kelly stands atop an octagonal base. She wears her hair in a bun and is dressed in an 1890s-era dress. Her proper right hand rests atop a cane. Her proper left hand gathers some of her skirt fabric.

Commissioned by Mr. G. C. Kelly in memory of his wife, Laura Mitchell Kelly. Reportedly, the sculpture was executed in France, based on photographs of Mrs. Kelly in her wedding dress.
