(Left side of book:) Pioneer 1870's The Ground for the Pioneer Graveyard, Which Had Been Used As Such for Years, Was Officially Deeded October 4, 1899, By George M. Bowers To Mohave County, Territory of Arizona, Binding all Heirs And Assigns forever. (Right side of book:) Dedicated By The Daughters of Mohave County Pioneers In Memory of the Hundreds of Courageous Pioneers Who Are Now & Forever Entombed Within This Sacred & Hallowed Ground, Kingman Arizona 1974 (Plaque on front of base:) We Humbly Dedicate This Ground The Site of Kingman's first Cemetery in Memory of The founding Pioneers Who Were Interred In These Hallowed Grounds. 1881-1920 Erected May 30, 1965.
