IAS files contain copies of the St. Louis Globe-Democrat, Nov. 2, 1964, a 1986 Memorial Day program booklet, and an unidentified newspaper article, May 31, 1972, discussing the piece in connection with a Memorial Day celebration. The memorial was funded by Johnson City Veterans of Foreign Wars.
