Remarks:
The sculptures currently sit in front of the Francis J. Braceland Building, but were formerly located in front of the original school building on Retreat Avenue. At their original location, the sculptures were placed immediately on stepped walls rather than on bases. For related information see Doris E. Cook's "Hartford's Most Visible Sculptor: Frances L. Wadsworth," Connecticut Historical Society, manuscript files.
