A park bench made with a stack of four library books, three forming the back of the bench, and one serving as the bench seat. At one end of the bench seat there is an open book inscribed with "In loving memory of James M. Hart."

The bench, which was created as part of the Village of Buffalo Grove's Sitting Pretty Project, was originally located outside, but has since been moved inside the library lobby. The bench is dedicated to a friend of the library, James M. Hart, who served as the Used Book Sale co-chairman.
