    Description: 
    Fountain composed of a circular basin with moulded base and top rope style moulding. A replica of Columbus's flagship, from which water flows, sits atop the basin. Behind the ship is a rounded triangular backdrop with a globe inset showing the old world and the new world, set off by scrolled waves and more roped moulding. Decorative relief images appear at the rear, including a compass, a sunburst, a nautical instrument, stars and the three ships, the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria.
