The other side depicts a sun (symbol of Jesus), 12 stars (representing the tribes of Israel, the Apostles, and the 12th chapter & verse of Revelations) and includes references to nearby communities: Auburn (Auburn-Cord-Dusenberg Museum, Reike sign, church & watertower); Butler (grain elevator); Waterloo (town hall and NY Central Railroad); and Spencerville (covered & steel bridges).
