    Formerly located Old Soldier's Home, State Street, Boise, Idaho 1915-1966.
    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was originally located at the Old Soldier's Home, outside the Barracks renamed Lincoln Hall in 1915. The statue was presented to the State by the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic of Boise, February 12, 1915. In Nov. 1966, a new Veterans Administration home was dedicated. IAS files contain partial transcription of text on base plaque (which includes Lincoln's second inaugural closing "with malice toward none"); and related reference sheet (series 713), from the Idaho Historical Society, updated 1985.
