Two medieval-era foot soldiers or knights each stand on a rectangular pedestal. Both wear short-skirted togas, sandals, helmets with mails and moustaches. Each holds a shield in his proper left hand.

The house where these pieces stand dates to the 1820s, and the sculptures are believed to have been placed in 1850. IAS files include a brief oral history of the site with a list of past owners.
