Provenance:
Formerly located United States Capitol, Statuary Hall, Washington, District of Columbia 20201 1887-2016.
Remarks:
This sculpture was formerly installed at the United States Capitol as part of the Statuary Hall Collection, but was replaced in 2016 by a statue of Thomas Edison. The statue of William Allen was relocated to the Ross County Historical Society in 2016.
