    Description: 
    A full-length female figure, representing Justice, stands atop the courthouse dome. She holds a sword (tip downward) in her proper right hand; and holds a scale in her upraised proper left arm. She wears a laurel leaf wreath. The Courthouse pediment frieze depicts another female figure of Justice, seated and holding scales in her proper right hand. Behind her on her proper right, a woman stands holding a book in her proper right hand, with left arm outstretched. Neither figure of Justice wears a blindfold.

    At the time of survey Courthouse was vacant and undergoing renovation. Cornerstone of the building reads: COMMENCED 1902./BOARD OF SUPERVISORS/ROBERT WILLIAMS CHAIRMAN/RICHARD FARRELL/M.M TRICKEY./ARCHITECTS/TROST AND RUST.
