    Walking figure of a uniformed Confederate soldier on a square base. The soldier appears to be saluting with his proper left hand. He holds his gun in his proper right hand, its butt on the ground.

    The statue was restored between 1989 and 1993. The plaque appears to be a later addition. IAS files contain an excerpt for the book "Confederate Monuments," by Ralph W. Widener Jr., 1982.
