An abstract circular sculpture with four sets of arms that extend upward to join a center column topped by a stone planter. The structure resembles a crown, such as St. Edwards crown, used in the coronation of British monarchs. The sculpture is placed atop a circular base.

The stones used in the sculpture were collected by the artist from the beach during evening walks when he was the keeper of the lighthouse. The sculpture is an example of traditional folk art practiced by light keepers in Michigan. The present caretaker, who is the son of the artist, periodically removes moss from the sculpture.
