    Description: 
    An obelisk with an American eagle on the pinnacle. The obelisk sits atop a multi-tiered base inscribed with names of war dead; and a bas-relief of military insignia comprised of a crossed sword and rifle, with bullet case over a flag and staff, topped by a military cap. On the east face above the inscription panel is a bas-relief medallion of two female figures flanking the New Jersey crest, with horse's head above.
