    Description: 
    Abstract figure, possibly female, accompanied by three birds which sit on the arms. The piece is composed of brightly colored geometric shapes with a triangular form acting as the body, a horizontal form as the shoulders and a round form as the head. Beams form the arms and there is a cylindrical object protruding from the front and round pieces attached to the back.

    Commissioned by Texas Commerce Bank, Gerald D. Hines Interests and United Energy Resources for between $600,000 and $800,000. Architect I. M. Pei, who designed the Texas Commerce Tower and plaza, assisted in selecting the artwork, which is an enlarged version of a 5 foot bronze piece by Miro with the same title, created in 1970. IAS files include related articles from the Houston Post, the Houston Chronicle April 19, 1982, other sources, and a copy of the dedication brochure.
