    Description: 
    Full-length figure of the Greek goddess Diana. She wears a knee-length tunic and sandals. Her hair is pulled back into a bun. She wears a quiver over her proper right shoulder. She reaches into the quiver for an arrow with her proper right hand. A short tree stump is located directly behind her proper left leg. A deer runs beside her on the proper left. Its forelegs are raised and its torso is supported by the tree stump. The lead sculpture stands on a circular self-base directly on the ground.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was originally in the collection of Massachusetts Governor Alvan T. Fuller and was sited at his summer estate in North Hampton. The sculpture was moved across the street to the Fuller Gardens sometime in the 1920's or 1930's. After Fuller's death in 1958, the Gardens became the property of the Fuller Foundation. The sculpture is stored indoors during the winter months.
