Inscription:  unsigned Description:  Abstract diamond-shaped sculpture of blue glass. The sculpture is made of sheets of glass adhered together to form a whole. The sculpture stands in the center of a three-stepped black granite fountain basin. Water cascades over the sculpture and into the basin. Subject:  Abstract -- Geometric Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- California -- Los Angeles Fountain Sculpture Owner:  Forest City Southpark Two, 11601 Wilshire Boulevard, #1900, Los Angeles, California 90025 Remarks:  The sculpture was funded as part of the Community Redevelopment Agency's Percent for Art program. Cost of the sculpture was $225,000. IAS files contain copies of preliminary art plan and related correspondence, and CRA/LA information listing. The CRA/LA sheet lists title as Waterwall and indicates the sculpture and fountain are located in the pedestrian walkway tucked between Hope Street and the lobby of The Metropolitan's (an apartment building) at Southpark.
