A little girl in a plain dress with her hair in ponytails is leaning forward and releasing a dove. She stands on a three-sided base. Each side has a clam-shell basin to catch water. The water spouts from the mouths of three girls' faces, one on each side. The words Fiducia, Pax and Spes appear over the girls' heads. They are Latin for "trust," "peace" and "hope."

Remarks:
Commissioned by Robur Corporation and donated to Boys Town in appreciation of the Town's patronage of the fledgling company. A girl figure was chosen because since 1979, Boys Town, a rehabilitation community for children at risk, has provided services for girls. An identifying plaque contains a poem entitled "A Girl's Dream," by Luisella Traversi Guerra. The statue was unveiled in Evansville, Indiana on Aug. 6, 1993, before being dedicated at the site. The fountain is lit with a footlight. IAS files include a related article from the Omaha World Herald, April 8, 1994, contents of a press folder from Boys Town and the text of a speech given by Benito Guerra, chairman of Robur.
