    Remarks:
The dragon's face was copied from a book of architectural detail patterns and altered slighted by Pease and Barber. Metal working experts, Hassell and Talcott, designed the tail to wrap around the 6 ft. iron finial. The piece was cast by Hassel Iron Works. The sculpture was erected during the 1890-1891 remodeling of the El Paso Club. IAS files contain related excerpt on the history of the club from Marshall Sprague's: "El Paso Club-A Century of Friendship," 1976.
