Description:
Along the top of the building, between the colonnade and the cornice, there is a row of eleven almost fully rounded reliefs of kneeling nude males, telamones. Each figure kneels on his proper left knee.

The building was designed by architect, George Post. The term telamon come from the Greek meaning bearer or support and is associated with the Argonaut Telamon of classical mythology.
