Description:
Heroic figure of an Indian. Only the arms, shoulders and head of the male figure are visible. The sculpture is placed atop the concrete roof of a building, creating the appearance that the figure is crawling over the building. The figure's hands and fingers grip the side of the roof and his head peers out above the roof. He has long hair which hangs down his back. The sculpture is made of fiberglass and is pigmented a burnished red with gold-leaf suspended in epoxy coating.

Nearby plaque: "This American Indian Sculpture, 'Connecticut', was created by Paul Albert Di Pasquale and acquired by a grant from Signet Bank, 1989." The sculpture was originally sited at Sherry's in Washington, D.C. The sculpture was then located on the second level of the Diamond Baseball Stadium where it was on loan to the City of Richmond. IAS files contain copy of checklist "Outdoor Sculpture Survey, 1986, Richmond, Virginia, prepared for the Statuary Study Committee by Tricia Pearsall." IAS files also contain copy of related artist's specifications and drawing.
