IAS files contain copies of an undated article from the St. Charles Chronicle (St. Charles, IL), and an information sheets from the Dellora A. Norris Cultural Arts Center. The sculpture, which cost 30,000 dollars, is one of a series of six done by the artist between 1964 and 1983. The statue was paid by funds given by the Norris family and selected by Joann Collins-Pace, daughter of the late Dellora A. Norris. The two-sectioned base of the statue was designed by St. Charles architect James Hestrup.
