Remarks:
At the time of the SOS! survey, there were about 70 windmills in various states of restoration. IAS files include a document by Bill Dalley entitled "Bill Dalley's Windmill Collection," dated Oct. 1994. This document has detailed descriptions of the windmill styles represented in the collection, and includes some maker names.
