    Remarks:
The Dallas Trees and Parks Foundation was responsible for the concept development, funding, and project construction. The Dallas Convention Center maintains the property and provides security. The project generated a bit of controversy because Dallas was not in the path of major cattle drives, but was a mercantile city.
