Dimensions:  40 steers and 3 figures. Each steer: approx. H. 7 ft. Description:  A 19th century cattle drive is depicted over a 4.2 acre Pioneer Plaza in downtown Dallas, in front of the Dallas Convention Center. The sculpture is composed of forty seven-foot-tall longhorn steers and three trail drivers on horseback who herd the cattle down a ridge past a newly constructed limestone cliff. The trail drivers are an Anglo, an African-American, and a Hispanic.
