    Remarks:
Shrine was built and dedicated by former caddies of Maplewood and Bethlehem golf courses and their caddy camps. The Maplewood Caddy Camp was located just a few hundred feet east of the Shrine, on Route 302. In 1990, the Shrine was rebuilt, the benches were redone and the sign repainted as it was originally done in 1958 by Toni Russo of Littleton, one of the former caddies.
Nearby wooden sign reads: THE TRAVELER ALONG THE WAY:/...To the weary who would pause/Along the road to rest.../...To the family or group or party/That would linger to rest and pray.../...To any and all./...This roadside haven is dedicated.../...With the hope that its beauty and serenity shall be as a warm hand clasp of a friend to a friend./CADDY CAMP ALUMNI MEMORIAL/BOSTON MASS. IAS files contain a visitors' handout for the Shrine, and a newspaper article from The Courier (Littleton, NH), July 5, 1990.
