A whale constructed with terrazzo over a steel mesh frame. The terrazzo surface has been polished with an industrial grinder to reveal the variety of stone chips in the terrazzo.

Remarks:
Created as an indoor piece for the Lincoln Square Mall, the sculpture was designed to invoke interaction of children. In 1981 ownership of the sculpture was transferred to the Urbana Park District as a gift for the Crystal Lake Pool.
