Description:
A bronze statue of a young boy, standing and playing a flute. A cloth is draped around his waist. He stands atop a rough marble block in the center of a fountain basin. Six fish are positioned at the foot of the basin and water shoots out from their mouths.

Remarks:
See IAS files for related newspaper articles. The fountain was donated by the Charles E. Munson, a prominent Columbus businessman. It was erected in memory of his son George Peabody Munson, who died at age six. Columbus sculptor Mary (Mae) Cook designed the figure of Pan, and collaborated with local architect Otto C. Darst to design the fountain. The fountain was carved and erected by Zenker Sons.
