Description:
Relief plaque depicts General Henry Knox and a boy prodding a team of oxen. There is a map on the left side of the relief which traces the route from Fort Ticonderoga to Cambridge, Massachusetts taken by General Knox to deliver artillery to General Washington.

The monument commemorates the route take by General Henry Knox in the winter 1775-1776 to deliver artillery from Fort Ticonderoga to Cambridge, Massachusetts for George Washington's assault on the British in Boston.
