Description:
A large blue heron stands surrounded by marsh flora, including cattails, wood, and sea grass. A small turtle climbs towards the heron on its proper right, and a marsh wren sits on a branch below the heron. The heron has a muliticolored patina, with yellow bill, blue-green feathers, and black eye patch. The cattails are brown and the grass is blue-green. The sculpture is mounted upon a circular base and set in a pond, just above water level.
