    Remarks:
This sculpture may have been one of several erected in Tilton, New Hampshire by Charles E. Tilton from 1879 to 1889. An attached article from a New Hampshire newspaper includes a picture of the identical sculpture on Main Street, in front of the Town Hall in Tilton, ca. 1961. While there is no information as to whether the sculpture still stands in Tilton, there is a statement that some of that town's smaller sculpture are no longer extant.
