Description:
Memorial inscribed with the names of fallen firefighter/EMS personnel within the nine county region of the Miami Valley. The names are laser cut in the stainless steel, with the letters resembling stencil-cut letters. The memorial was inscribed with sixty-nine names when it was dedicated on Oct. 31, 2010.

Remarks:
The memorial was funded through the efforts of the Miami Valley Firefighter/EMS Memorial Association, which was founded in 1992 to create a memorial honoring fallen firefighters, as well as the courageous firefighters who risk their lives everyday. The artist was chosen from a state wide competition in 2008. The memorial was dedicated on Oct. 31, 2010 during the annual memorial service for fallen firefighters.
