Full-length portrait of George O'Brien Millard dressed in a suit and a knee-length overcoat. His proper left hand is tucked into his pants pocket. The bronze sculpture stands on a stepped stone base.

Formerly located George O'Brien Millard School, Beaumont, Texas 1912.
Pipkin Park, Riverside Drive, near the MLK Expressway & the Liberty Laurel Corridor, Beaumont, Texas until 2010.
Remarks:
Millard was a member of the local school board and a benefactor of the public schools of Beaumont. Originally, the sculpture was installed in front of the George O'Brien Millard school with partial funding rovided by Beaumont school children and faculty. IAS files contain related excerpt from Pompeo Coppini's "From Dawn to Sunset," San Antonio: The Naylor Company, n.d., pg. 195.
