Description:
An abstract site-installation, consisting of two pine sections, the larger piece resembling a ramp or bridge, placed atop a circular pathway of light colored pebbles. From the bridge's apex, one looks out to the smaller element of two interlocking pyramids, aligned pointing to the North star.

Remarks:
The sculpture was originally installed as part of the Arts Festival of Atlanta in Piedmont Park in 1987. It was designed with the knowledge that it would be moved to another site. According to the artist, the sculpture was to be lit from within at night; and it was designed with viewer interaction in mind. Also, at its original site, the pebbles were of graduated sizes.
