    Description:
City Square Park features a fountain adorned with symbols of historic Charlestown. The tall slender fountain is topped with crane standing on a weather vane. Around the bottom of the fountain are two basins with a row of fish spouting water into the top basin. A bronze frog sits on the rim of the lower basin. Around the lower basin is a brick plaza adorned with bronze sculptures of swimming fish. Surrounding the fountain is an ornamental fence adorned with corn cob finials. Throughout the park there are granite piers bearing oval portrait medallions of historic Charlestown figures, such as Loammi Baldwin, Jr., father of civil engineering. At the entrance to the park are two granite gates adorned with bronze sculptures, one of which depicts a female figure holding the scales of justice.
