Description:
Architectural sculpture on exterior of Cathedral. Included are gargoyles, four angels around the bell tower, figure of Jesus standing with his proper left hand to his heart and proper right hand extending with palm upward, figure of Mary with baby Jesus, figure of Paul standing with his proper left hand holding a large scroll to chest and proper right hand resting on the hilt of a sword, and figure of Paul with proper right hand holding keys and proper left hand holding a book at chest level. Figures of Jesus, Mary, Paul and Peter are set in a niche.

IT WAS MOVED IN 1911 TO A/TEMPORARY SITE JUST WEST OF AND/ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE PRESENT/PERMANENT GOTHIC STRUCTURE, OF/NATIVE VOLCANIC ROCK, WHICH WAS/COMPLETED AND DEDICATED IN 1930./BY/DA SILVA COUNCIL,/KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS/and/ARIZONA HISTORICAL SOCIETY.
